VSAT Install, TV3 Dublin

 In early 2006 Libirel Communications installed a VSAT transmit and receive dish.  The installation allows reception of video signals from remote sites such as Satellite News Gathering vans.  It also allows return audio and communications to the remote location.  The Prodelin1.8m VSAT dish has a SMW LNB and BUC. It was situated in the dish farm with suitable cabling installed for the received and transmission paths.  TV3 Ireland is the sole commercial terrestrial television channel in the Republic.  The main studios of TV3 are located in Ballymount. Dublin.
